If you have a friend who knows a thing or two about boards you could take them with you and pick up something a bit cheaper that way. I'd recommend that you buy in a store rather than online. I wear a set of thermal knit long johns under insulated ski pants, (mainly for a cushion when I land) and a "t" shirt under a turtleneck shirt and the add a sweater and a parka. Several thin layers are warmer than on thick layer.
