I live in Canada, Vancouver to be more specific. Anyone good stores where I can but some trendy but also good quality ski stuff? Thanks. If you don’t live in Canada or don’t know if its there just say it anyways thanks.
By the way what’s a good place to get ski socks and also what do you guys wear underneath your ski jacket and pants? Thanks
There’s a bunch of shops around Burrard & W 4th – Boardroom, Pacific Boarder and some others.
I’ve seen a ton of boards up on CL recently there, and kijiji and usedvancouver.com (I live on the island and was board shopping recently…). If you have a friend who knows a thing or two about boards you could take them with you and pick up something a bit cheaper that way.
I’d recommend that you buy in a store rather than online. Online seems cool because it might be cheaper but you don’t have a person you can go to with questions / issues and you don’t get it fitted for you.

Try the sporting goods shops in your area, also ask at your local ski area above town. These are probably less expensive than at Whistler or Grouse Mountain.
I wear a set of thermal knit long johns under insulated ski pants, (mainly for a cushion when I land) and a "t" shirt under a turtleneck shirt and the add a sweater and a parka. Several thin layers are warmer than on thick layer.
As a last source, try Goodwill or other similar sources and Craig’s list.
